Vive Controller trackpad not working

We have experience repairing batches of HTC Vive virtual reality controllers for Goldsmiths University of London, and for research institutions too.

Vive have created a wonderful virtual reality system, but their technical support hasn’t gained them the best reputation for customer service, and the controllers and headset is very vulnerable to sweat and moisture, not to mention bumps, knocks and bashed. Not surprisingly, this is more serious when using the Vive wireless adapter!

HTC Vive controllers have common faults such as;

  • Faulty sensors
  • Sweat moisture headset damage
  • Unresponsive trigger
  • Unresponsive trackpad
  • Battery failure
  • Damaged charging usb port
  • Plastic shell casing damage
  • Power issues – won’t power on

Our service is simple; post the batch to us and we’ll repair them within a 5-day window and post them back to you. The fee for repair is £25 per controller depending on the issue and parts needed.
